This program prepares you for roles in state and federal law enforcement, courts, corrections, government departments, and community agencies focusing on criminal justice. It equips you with the skills to analyze crime data, understand variations in crime rates across different settings, and evaluate crime prevention strategies. The curriculum emphasizes the impact of factors like disadvantage, ethnicity, aboriginality, disability, age, and gender on justice access. Through practical assessments and industry-informed content, students gain hands-on experience and foundational research knowledge. The degree allows for a second major or two minors in areas such as Community and Human Services, Behavioural Studies, Sociology, IT Security, Writing, and Indigenous Studies. Developed in consultation with students and justice/community agencies, it offers a versatile pathway for both career entry and postgraduate studies
