This challenging qualification prepares you for a career as an engineer watchkeeper in the maritime industry, enhancing your employability and providing opportunities for advancement to higher-level qualifications. Successful completion qualifies you to serve as a chief engineer on larger, more powerful vessels, including vehicular ferries, tourist vessels, coastal cargo vessels, and offshore oil and gas supply boats. Please note that the course follows a non-standard calendar, and it is a full-time program with a demanding schedule over 4 to 5 days per week.
