The Bachelor of Science (Honours) is a fourth-year program designed for graduates of Science, Information Technology, and Mathematical Science undergraduate degrees. This program serves as preparation for advanced research or professional practice in careers involving complex research work.
The honours program includes a core research project and coursework studies in research methodologies, communication, and literature review preparation. Over half of the program focuses on the research project, culminating in the submission of an Honours thesis. The goal is to develop skills and experience for postgraduate research studies.
Supervision is offered in various study areas, including professional-level computing and research-based studies in science disciplines such as Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Environmental and Conservation Science, Food and Nutrition, Geoscience, Mathematical Sciences, and Veterinary and Wildlife Science.
