The Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Information Engineering) (Honours) is a four-year program designed to equip students with technical, problem-solving, and communication skills for the high demand in electrical and information engineering. Covering key areas like electrical circuits, energy conversion, signals and systems, as well as programming, data science, and artificial intelligence, this program has been developed in collaboration with local engineering industry leaders. Accredited by Engineers Australia, graduates can pursue careers in electrical engineering, renewable energy, power systems engineering, and electronic systems. Further study options are available through the Master of Engineering program. The Federation University Co-operative Model offers paid placements, career preparation, and workplace skill development, ensuring graduates are work-ready. Co-op students complete a minimum of 60 days’ paid placement relevant to their course, contributing to course credits, with flexibility to suit students’ commitments. This co-designed program involves collaboration with employers, industry, students, and alumni.
