This qualification prepares individuals for a Master Unlimited certification in the maritime industry, aligning with Marine Orders 71. It covers practical skills and knowledge related to vessel management, marine safety, navigation, cargo operations, stability, marine law, ship management, construction, and maintenance. To enroll, applicants must meet AMSA requirements, including 12 months of documented seagoing service as a Watchkeeper Deck on vessels over 500 gross tonnage during voyages lasting at least 24 hours.
